StockPet is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how StockPet handles information when you use our mobile application.
Information We Do Not Collect
StockPet does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. We do not require you to create an account, provide your name, email address, phone number, or any other identifying information to use the app.
Data Stored On Your Device
All app data — including your pets, portfolio history, StockCoins, graveyard records, and gallery paintings — is stored locally on your device only. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.
Third-Party Services
StockPet uses the following third-party services to function:
Marketstack (marketstack.com) — used to fetch end-of-day stock price data. Your device sends stock ticker symbols to Marketstack’s servers to retrieve prices. No personal information is transmitted. Marketstack’s privacy policy is available at marketstack.com/privacy. Google Gemini API (ai.google.dev) — used to classify stock tickers into categories. Your device sends stock ticker symbols to Google’s servers. No personal information is transmitted. Google’s privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.
In-App Purchases
StockPet offers optional in-app purchases processed through Apple’s App Store. We do not collect or store any payment information. All purchases are handled entirely by Apple. Apple’s privacy policy is available at apple.com/privacy.
Push Notifications
StockPet may send push notifications about your pets such as evolution milestones and price alerts. These notifications are generated locally on your device. You can disable notifications at any time in your iPhone’s Settings.
Children’s Privacy
StockPet does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. The app does not collect personal information from any users regardless of age.
California Residents (CCPA)
StockPet does not sell personal information. We do not collect personal information as defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act.
European Users (GDPR)
StockPet does not collect or process personal data as defined under the General Data Protection Regulation. All data generated by your use of the app is stored locally on your device.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with an updated date at the top of this page.
